Cascade Gran Fondo - August 2-4, 2012 in Bend, Oregon.

Welcome to the home of the second annual Cascade Gran Fondo!  You're invited to join Team RadioShack Nissan Trek's Chris Horner for three fantastic days in scenic Bend, Oregon.

Located in the heart of Central Oregon, Bend is a town known for activity and adventure.  The Cascade Gran Fondo will showcase many of the great things Bend has to offer, including an evening of entertainment in the historic downtown Tower Theatre, a fantastic dinner with food provided by Deschutes Brewery on Bend’s Westside, a scenic ride through the Cascade mountains and Deschutes National Forest, and finishing up with an expo and festival along the banks of the Deschutes River, at the Deschutes Brewery.  The rest of the time can be spent exploring the outdoor activities, shopping, great food, and fantastic atmosphere that the area has to offer.

The Cascade Gran Fondo will be a fun ride through Central Oregon.  The ride was designed by Chris to suit every type of rider, from competitive cyclists looking to challenge themselves to casual cyclists looking for a fun ride in central Oregon and everyone in between!  Come along for a fun ride alongside Chris Horner, all while raising money for three great causes! 

2012 Schedule of Events:

August 2nd - VIP Dinner - Join Chris for an intimate dinner on Bend's westside - great food, conversation, and fun.  

August 3rd - An Evening of Stories - Get the inside stories from life within the professional peleton from Chris and other pros, as they tell stories and answer questions.  

August 4th - Second Annual Cascade Gran Fondo Ride and Expo - See the best Central Oregon has to offer with a fantastic ride around Bend - riders of all ages and abilities are welcome!

Gran Fondo Giveaways: There will be fantastic giveaways throughout the event for participants, fundraisers, and volunteers, including prizes from Zipp, SRAM, Camelbak, Bontrager and many more!  

Registration for the 2012 Gran Fondo ride will open on March 15th, 2012.
