DATE CHANGE - Due to issues with road access, the Cascade Gran Fondo will now be held from August 3-5, 2012.  Sorry for the change - but there will now be three different distances to choose from! Route maps and profiles will be posted soon.

The 2012 Cascade Gran Fondo event will run from August 3-5, 2012, in Bend, Oregon. It is hosted by Team RadioShack-Nissan-Trek professional cyclist, Chris Horner, winner of the 2011 Tour of California, and Bend resident.  Gran Fondo participants will be exploring the best of Central Oregon, giving spectacular views of the Cascade Mountains.  In addition to the ride, there will also be two other events happening throughout the weekend - a VIP dinner with Chris Horner on August 4th, and an evening of stories with Chris Horner on August 3rd.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers for the Full Gran Fondo Route!  There will be also fantastic giveaways throughout the event for participants, fundraisers, and volunteers.

FUNDRAISING: Each participant also has the option of fundraising for any (or all) of the three organizations being supported by the Cascade Gran Fondo, including the Mount Bachelor Ski Education Foundation, World Bicycle Relief, and LIVESTRONG.  100% of all donations will go to the three organizations.
